Hello all,
I write from a hot and muggy pier as I await an overnight visa run to Burma to extend my stay here in Thailand. There is a lot I could write but have a question.
I am here supporting 26 yoga students who are in a very in depth 11 week immersion in classical yoga. Of course 24 are women. When I came I agreed to do massage and some yoga therapy and have done well. I seem to lean more into the energy body and chi nei tsang than what they expect but I am having fun creating my form.
I was asked to give an hour and a half workshop on sex. It is a riot. I said I would never teach women about sex- there are wonderful female teachers out there- but this is Thailand- far from chia’s place- and I am here and I am as qualified as anyone with life’s experiences and my cultivation. And I am certified a bit.
my practices have gotten much deeper as i question what I know/feel and what I am just mouthing. Taking me into emotions and memories stuck with sex and releasing into new body sensations and self embrace. That part is great. Teaching is a huge aphrodisiac to the chi junkie.
But I know an hour and half is so short even if they are exploring their energy bodies via vedic mapping. I have a lot worked out in my mind to present- bone breathing, anal breathing and contraction, circulating energies, using simple chi kung forms to teach of the yin yang sexual flow happening all the time. Speaking about solo versus dual cultivation and even going into simple fusion for the emotions that rise. exploring what sexual energy is and how it fits into a spiritual practice. Yoga here is not doing well meeting them.
I wonder what you consider essential for an intro? It is a short time ( maybe I can do a day long later) and don’t want to overwhelm or worse take them places they cannot handle. Though I am not too worried about that.
Anyway good to see you all still here. I will be returning to Heavenly mountain this summer again immersing in the cracks and seams of chi flow that constantly spurt out like hidden springs. Still the wandering child…Barry

You are way too much in your head on this one. I would give them a short half hour overview of what’s possible, and then focus on giving them an experience of Ovarian Breathing. Anchor them in the practice, then they will come back later for more. They can do ovarian breathing while in different yogic postures, you might suggest a few.
I am sure there are a few guys here on the forum that would be happy to assist you…..:)

I agree with Michael – your first suggestion was too much theory. I agree also that 30 minutes of talking about the role that sexual energy plays in life and in Taoist alchemy would be plenty.
Before having them do ovarian breathing, though, I would have them remember how their body feels in different stages of sexuality – feeling sexual but unaroused, feeling sexual and slightly aroused, and then feeling all out horny! That will allow them to experience the power of sexual energy and how it can feed the body, mind and spirit.
Then have them doing ovarian breathing with the sexual but unaroused feeling in the ovaries.
Also, to promote the taoist cycle of energy, rather than the ascendent yogic view of energy, it would be nice if you could have them breathe the unaroused sexual ovarian energy up to their heart, and then back down to the ovaries. The reason I suggest the heart, rather than the lower tan tien or kidneys, is that the heart is the most likely organ/center that they will be able to easily open.
I am sure that you will have fun!

and make them squeze ass
and teach woman how to be a womanwell there is an alternative and it is quite obvious
but it demands growing blals, not ovariesa rituat
choosing one woman as an altar, she sits opposite the mantwo males if feminist join the greater circle of females
otherwise they get supporting roles and two other females are called forward
supporting males sit behind the man, supporting the male
and another tho females sit behind the woman, in support the female
triangle formation forming hexagram
other females form the great circlethen the it hapens
invoke her the goddes
be the god
seal the circle
and fht instructors are somwhat prudish regarding touch.
so it might go via yab-yum position clothes on, like the cover of males sexual energy
or just via starring as Gurdjieff was fond of but don just burn, linger in the twiglight
or just by presence and meltif they are not earth goddesses then some spanking is in order
if she talks she isntMarch 10, 2008 at 9:45 pm #27783March 10, 2008 at 9:46 pm #27785Glad to hear about your continued spiritual travels . . .
Look forward to catching you next summer!Best,
StevenMarch 11, 2008 at 5:21 am #27787I find myself somewhere between Jernej and M’s and V’s suggestions. I love to create theater and at its core is ovarian testicle breathing. Working the heart and kidneys too. They are very cautious it seems about pulling too much on the lower chakra—perineum and anal pullups so as not to awaken the kundalini prematurely.
It seems with slow breath and inner circulation this would not happen so violently. Have you ever had issues around this Michael? I know sexual practices are after rooting and fusion in the formula and yet this is the practice people seem most interested in. No wonder…but any cautions to offer? Barry
March 11, 2008 at 1:27 pm #27789I just want to hear back, if you start spanking any of your naked yoga students. That was the funniest thing I have ever heard from Jernej. Spank, “bad earth goddess, bad earth goddess”! ohh to funny.
