I practice alot of weird shit in my life and not sure I digested all of it. I have had a couple of kundalini events along the way and recently have been doing alot of melting that turns out to be a little like the Franztis thing, but in my case based on simmering off pre-OBE vibrations… not importnat
Anyhoo, I actually opened the orbit the old Mantak way recently – I’ll be doing the Michael and wudang way too as soon as I learn it but – it had very unexpected effects for me and I am wondering if they are recognizable to anyone. It accelerated everyone I was trying to do anyhow.
I think I have a lot of stagnant kidney ice/sexual stuff, it appears in many layers, and the orbit seems to go in amongst the layers. If I try to move deeper layers (gently!) I find heat comes which dissolves the ice. This in turn has other effects. Firstly I get huge amounts of nectar in my mouth, which (following a suggesting from Matblack a long time ago) I duly swallow.
Secondly and more importantly, I get the feeling that I am being pulled into alignment with a vertical column of force. This aligning seems to go with a feeling of perceptual clarity. If I can put it another way – the process of aligning, the process of burning off the ice, and the process of feeling progressively clearer inside, all seem to be the same process. If I force it nothing happens, I have to relax out to the energy body and wait. And sometimes I just wait, whereupon things burn off all by themselves.
My question really is, it feels good but what is it? ๐ ๐ ๐
I’ve heard alot of talking about these kinds of things but I haven’t heard anyone mention this. It feels very good. BTW I have done sexual practices but not taoist ones. I still do sorcery as well, in particular I work on changing my personality to be more positive. It does seem very much to me like a tantric process of ‘burning off sins’… ? Because as I release personality patterns it seems also I get the etheric/physical evidence of them burned off as well.I’m grateful for any responses or observations.

July 11, 2007 at 12:04 pm #22907The feeling of alignment can be achieved by getting your left and right kidneys in balance. Also your front and back channels opening and balancing. All Align with your center. This is a good time of the year for heating up fozen kidneys or burning off too much liver chi(reduce the controler, less anger) this also helps increae the acceptance of inner and outer earth. Thats what comes to mind.

Does it feel 'simple', 'clear' and 'still'? (the best words I have for the kinesthetic experience of this) In which case you're probably getting into your core channel – which is great! (I have some difficulty with this)
You could also be opening up your ming men and the pleasant feeling could be some yuan chi coming through. (Kidneys are the key for you!)
My key area is the liver (a lot of repressed anger) and lungs (the anger is about the sadness and grief that the world is not in perfect, complete balance)
July 11, 2007 at 2:29 pm #22911…but mixed with alot of burning off of stuff going on outside that area. Thanks Freeform. This will be a long and cool process. BTW 2 questions
– is one ‘supposed’ to get in the core channel at any point or is this just ‘happens when it happens’?, and
– is this core channel the same one that the triple burner sound is supposed to help clear out?
But yeah it must be core channel. I also notice two other channels alongside it, brings instantly to mind the ‘Tree of Life’ diagram.
This core channel stuff is a legacy of Glenn Morris who got me into all this… I suppose the orbit just kind of wraps around it, front and back.
Thankyou guys, Jason
July 11, 2007 at 4:52 pm #22913Not only simple clear etc. but also VAST!!! Obviously a part of me but equally obviously so much huger than my personal view of myself that I feel very small. I think the idea is to align with it, and when the personality is nice and clear then obviously it will align properly. I now see why Bardon has one stacking the elements in a vertical column to raise serpent power – but only *after* personality has been somewhat balanced. (That would be after a very good mastery of fusion in HT terms I guess.)
Does the core channel play a role in the kan and li? I ask because what I can’t seem to do yet is feel *both* the vastness of the central channel *and* the vastness of the low tan tien. Their vastnesses sort of seem to be on different frequencies. Lots to play with here… gotta tell you, in my own opinion the key to everything is the ability to change one’s personality gradually, and to be as neutral as possible, this is what allows everything to align.

July 11, 2007 at 4:54 pm #22915I agree with freeform, that you are clarifying your central channel. One might expect it to “open”, “flow”, and “fill”, as happens with other channels, but its’ process is unique amongst the channels, is more about clarification, stillness, the union of concentration and openness. One of the concise Tibetan directions re: the central channel is “enter, abide, dissolve”. It’s the skillful means where the personal connects with the Transpersonal, and as such, more limited patterns of energy are superceded.

July 11, 2007 at 5:03 pm #22917July 11, 2007 at 11:59 pm #22919Jing unfolds in life, as its energetics unfold it creates the Center Channel, the Chong channel. The chong is a portal to Jing, ultimately you are cultivating Jing/Essence which has prental and postnatal aspects, when cultivating you are influencing postnatal to influence the prenatal, which fires more unfolding, or Steaming, which is just Yuan Qi, over time the Yuan Qi is more and more refined in our daily life, less and less polarized, allowing us to live in the postantal from a Yuan field.

I don't understand this part. It seems to me that the central channel is 'already there' and as I align to it, it makes its presence gradually felt. But I clearly would drop dead if it wasn't there, so I am not sure how 'jing unfolding in life' can 'create' it. Doesn't it mean more that jing unfolding in life creates a *connection* to it?
(Please understand I am not arguing, just asking for clarification! This is the first time I've really encountered these phenomena and terminologies, thankyou!)
The part about living in the postnatal from within a yuan field I do get. But I would like to ask, when I am feeling the heat dissolve the ice, is this 'steaming'? Because at the moment most of it is not really going into the central channel, it's just kind of gassing off….

Most of your questions would be answered by progression to Kan and Li courses, which go deep into relation between pre and post natal.I think the challenge here is that you’ve done a lot of practice, and are getting more advanced effects from fundamental practices like the orbit, which in most people develops more slowly.
think of the oribt as giving yin-yang boundaries around the core channel, stabilizing your energy body and creating a vessel so that you can explore your relation to the neutral force inside the “egg” of the orbit. That egg develops into your immortal self as the yuan chi is made more conscious within the post natal realm.
Bagua is correct in saying that the individual human core channel arises from jing. Obviously, there is a pre-existing field of yuan chi, qhich is said to have a cosmic axis betwen heaven and earth. But a human being is a microcosmic manifestation of tht field, and jing is what allow the crystallization of that larger field. Just as yuan jing is what allows the heaven-earth axis to form.
Hope this helps.

July 12, 2007 at 4:34 pm #22925Hi Jason:
When we are conceived and then “In Utero”, Jing is unfolding, there are no channels yet, Jing unfolds and the Chong Channel is created or activated, the code from Jing unfolds into the Chong, then Ren, then Du, etc, this is the evolution of the channels and body. I’m expressing my understanding of how the channel system evolved, Chong / Center channel is closest to Jing and our True nature, it is the portal to Yuan. Chong close to neutral, has some polarity, minor, Du and Ren more polarity, playing in the fields of Yin-Yang. Hope this helps.
