Hello MatthewQi
Nice article!
This would support my wieu:
“”””I do advise caution, discernment and care in following these sexual desires, as some desires may come up that are inappropriate, even illegal to express. Some people may experience desire for sexual contact with minors, children, animals, or a desire for violent sexual contact such as rape.
It is best to simply observe such inappropriate desires, and accept them. Generally, they are not indicative of an actual shift of sexual orientation, but are appearing to release issues and are symbolic of a desire for unity with all things. The appearance of sexual dreams or fantasies about children does not mean one has become a pedophile. It is symbolic of a desire for unity with innocence and purity, and more love for one’s own inner child.
The appearance of fantasies about sexual acts with animals is symbolic of unity with nature, and with one’s own animal nature. Violent sexual fantasies of rape are usually simply a manifestation of unconscious anger being brought up to be resolved and released.

Especially this part
“”””Generally, they are not indicative of an actual shift of sexual orientation, but are appearing to release issues and are symbolic of a desire for unity with all things.”””””
It’s not necessarily a shift of sexual orientation!!!!
This would support Steven and S D:
“””””A long term side effect of the second chakra opening, can be bisexuality. This is nothing to be concerned with, some believe that bisexuality is natural for humans, and exclusive hetero or homosexuality is aberrant. Simply put, “love knows no gender.”
You may find that once the second chakra is cleared, your love is directed towards individuals rather than sexual traits or gender issues. Your attraction is based on someone’s personality or energy, rather than whether their plumbing is male or female. The spiritual energy of the persons you are attracted to, is more important than the physical gender characteristics.
“””””””””
This is about higher states or completness but described in another way:
“”””””Later on in the process, the intense sexuality of the second chakra reverses, and there may be a notable absence of sexual desire, spontaneous celibacy. The second chakra is cleared, and so does not offer any resistance to the energy moving through it towards the higher chakras. Life itself, every day offers a greater and more all-encompassing bliss than what you could achieve be even the best sexual experiences, previously.
“”””””””””
This is some critisim against Mantak Chias wieu:
“”””””Some people find good value in the books by Mantak Chia; I find that some of the exercises can be useful, but they advocate a peculiar scarcity consciousness about energy, with all the concepts about the need to conserve and recycle energy.
Through the experience of grounding you may discover that energy is infinite, once you connect to source.
“”””””
Is the issue about scarcity counsiousness about energy relevant as you people see it.
About kundalini yoga by S D:
I generally feel there is much for us doing taoist exercises to learn from the path of kundalini yoga. There seems to be so much similarities. Thats also a greate tradition! Conclusions:
I feel this article support my ideas or more rightly my interpretation of G L Paulsons wieu in his book “Kundalini and the chakras.”: Namely the wieu that homosexual feelings during kundalini awakening not necessarily means your are or are becoming homosexual. Not even to a small percentage. But I’m shore Steven will find that this article support his wieu. I can find arguments for that to but I leave that part to you S. Not risking an end to a good discussion!
Sincerely S D
December 12, 2007 at 1:24 am #26563Hello S
This lines from u I completely like:
“”””Embrace you–the whole you–with whatever it is–on the inside.
Trying to label parts of yourself as anomalous and not
really part of you is the road to problems. What’s so bad about being 5%, 60%, 25%, whatever % homosexual
anyway? We’re all unique individuals. It would be
pretty boring if everyone were *exactly* the same!
“””””””””The rest of the discussion continues after MatthewQi´s part to the discussion.

It’s not necessarily a shift of sexual orientation!!!!
———–
———–S: That’s because you’re not “becoming partly homosexual”;
it’s because you already *are*. There is no shift.
You are just becoming aware of what already is.
See the numerous previous posts on this!To be honest, I didn’t really think much about that article.
Reason being, a lot of what she wrote appeared self-contradictory.
First, she says that no shift of sexual orientation takes place;
then she says a common long-term side effect is bisexuality.
Her analysis is pretty inconsistent, and to be honest, I don’t
think she really gets it–or understands Mantak Chia’s stuff
either for that matter.Anybody can write anything. Be aware of this.
The only real truth is that everything we do and experience
is moving us toward gaining a deeper understanding of
our underlying core true self and our relationship with the
universe.Regarding this particular discussion, there is no “anomaly” and
there is no “change”–only a new awareness of what already is
part of our true nature. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing
less. It’s not complicated. We look to the outside; we look for excuses.
All these things do is hide our true nature–keep us in the dark–
eyes hidden from the sunlight. Drop the veil and look at
what is. Bask in the sunlight and the joy of what is
your true self. Embrace all aspects of your being–whatever
they might be–with all its nuances and unique little
colorings. Feel alive in the ecstasy of being a unified
being–knowing who and what you are and all parts that
make up the entirety of you.Start now.
Peace,

Well Steven the things she is saying is exactly what I mean. There is no shift in the sexual orientation if the person is bisexual inside. But during this awakening of the kundalini theire might arise other sexual feelings that not realy are part of you and she is telling you that if they are of this kind then you don’t need to be afraid of that you are becoming something else than you thought you where. So what I tell you all the time in my posts is that it could be the bouth ways!
It could be that you are bisexual and it comes up from the darkness but it could also be that this is just a temporalily efect of the kundalini. Perhaps you are right and it was there from the beginning but the kundalini just make the feelings much bigger so they might afect you for a while.
The important thing in what I got out of reading the book I was talking about and the article we mentioned above is that you don’t need to be afraid you are somthing else than you thought when strange sexual feelings going on during a kundalini awakening. If they are just amplified and are there from the beginning or not is not of big importance for me. Of course it is of importance if it is meant to be outlived in your life, but it’s not always like this!
A clarification.
When I say the feelings not realy are part of you I mean they are not ment to be aspects of your personality that you are supoused to take in being a part of yourself. I can meet you half the way and think that they still is in your soul in some sence but just not important aspects meant to be real in your life. Not necesarlily so anyway.Sincerely S D
