When I said “interpretations of writings of Christ” in my first post, I was making particular use of the preposition “of”.
“Writings of Christ” means something different than “writings BY Christ”.
The particular use of “of”, means that Jesus was the subject, held in regard as savior.
Several authors wrote of him, and then Paul interpreted these and added his own in subsequent books of the New Testament. Thus my meaning behind “interpretations of writings of Christ by Paul”.
Just to clarify my original post . . . S

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.”

February 8, 2016 at 3:01 am #45863“Buddhism” says the individual ego is *ultimately* an illusion…
why?
…because of what happens when the consciousness returns to the source across and through the Bardos..
Buddhism inherited both the Brahman and the Tao…
These are the Golden Fields:
“Buddhist understanding of Brahman
Brahma as perfectionWhile Brahmā in Buddhist scripture refers to the non-eternal demigod, Brahma or Brahman is believed by scholars to refer to the eternal perfect being, and the highest stage any person can achieve is labelled as Brahma. For example, Buddha’s eight-fold path is not only called as Astanga Marga (eight-fold path) and Dharmayana but also as Brahmayana. As the Samyutta Nikaya says, V, 5-6, “This Ariyan eightfold Way may be spoken of as Brahmayana or as Dhammayana. Again the Buddha Dharma is equated with Brahma when “…he has become dharma, he has become brahman.” It is said that the cultivation of benevolence in its purest form is “called the divine life in this world (Brahman item viharam idhmahu).” In this context Brahma is interpreted to mean divine.
In the Suttanipata, 656, the Buddha says that he who has won the three-fold lore (self-denial, holy life, and control) and who will never be reborn is Brahma.
The Buddha Dharma is compared to Brahma. In the Majjhima Nikaya, I, 60 the Dharmachakra of wheel of law is also called the Brahmachakra. The Majjhima-Nikaya also says that the Buddha is ‘Brahmapatta’ or “one who has attained Brahman”.
Of Nirvana, the ultimate happiness it is written “one who has attained Nirvana” it is said, “may justifiably employ theological terminology (dhammena so Brahma-vadam vadeyya)”

February 8, 2016 at 9:25 am #45867Of course, Christians would argue that these quotes all came before the crucifixion of Jesus, and that the crucifixion consequently enabled this proxy use of Jesus as sin-shedding and free ticket to afterlife, as I described. See John 3.16.
Not that I believe any of this personally, but this is what they decidedly believe.

AnonymousI am wary of commenting much, because I am young and, though have spent my entire life trying to understand these things, have a long way to go. In short, my view should not be considered as weighty in any sense. I offer it out of duty, knowing it could spark a worthwhile thought.
————
My views are formed from:-life-long, faith-based experience of personal relationship with Jesus Christ
-Four years of academic study of Christianity in both a Christian college and a secular college
-psilocybin cubensis experiences of gnosis and being “the universe”
-brief conversations w/ Michael Winn, during which he said Jesus was overshadowed by the “logos”
-reading “Jesus and the Lost Goddess” by Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy
-reading “Pontius Pilate and his Gospel of Jesus” by Michael E. Morgan
-1 1/2 years of following healing dao curriculum (currently only practicing fundamentals and primordial)
————-I have followed “God” since I was young, experiencing “Him” guiding me to things I could not have considered from my own intellectual perspective/belief system. The experience is one of a quiet “voice” in my heart.
One of those things was psilocybin. Another was this path of internal alchemy.
My mind resists, my heart whispers the truth of the DAO. This is the exact voice I have known my entire life as a Christian. (no time to discuss identity of voice from daoist cosmology)
So, I follow.
Mental reconciliation (for kicks):
FIRST:
-Christians believe some are saved without knowing the name “Jesus” – Abraham, Moses, etc.
How? They obeyed God by faith – and Christ’s atoning blood is not bound by space or time.-Then, people can be presented with different experiences of God and be saved through the same mechanism – God’s Word, accepted through faith (aka, action of obedience; see Paul).
SECOND:
-“He answered them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables so that, ‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'” (Mark 4:11-12).
“Inner meaning” given to the disciples, not the masses.
Do not “cast your pearls to swine”.-Jesus’s conversation with Nicodemus.
(Note that Nicodemus is an intelligent religious leader – perhaps, one worthy of a deeper level of the message)“Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.’
‘How can someone be born when they are old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely they cannot enter a second time into
their mothers womb to be born!’
Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the
Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying,
You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it
comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.’ (John 3:1-21)This resembles the “kan and li” formulas. If I am not mistaken, “spirit” can be understood as “fire”, like the
“tongues of fire” that came upon the disciples in Acts. The daoist experience of being born again of water and fire (spirit giving birth to spirit) and
then, like the wind, blowing wherever they please matches precisely with Jesus’ words.-Christ is the logos, according to New Testament. This terms was written with knowledge of Greek philosophy.
“In the beginning was the Word [logos]…” (John 1:1)Jesus Christ is the logos of God.
He prays to his father regarding his followers:
“I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one. The glory that you have
given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one. The glory which You have given Me I
have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one. And the glory which thou gavest me I have
given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I have given them the glory You have given Me. May
they be one as We are one. I in them and you in me–so that they may be brought to complete unity. (John
17:22-23)THIRD:
Therefore:
-Man is made one with God/source through direct experience of accepting the Logos into one’s heart – being “born again” through water/fire.
Who is able to accept the seed? The one whose heart is “good” soil. Otherwise, the seed will not “be rooted”
and will be washed away. (See the parable of the seed). It seems to me that the internal alchemy practice is an excellent process for tilling the soil, which increases the
chances of the Logos taking root in the heart and welling up to an internal fountain of life.-If I understand correctly, both the Daoist and Christian method of achieving immortality are one and the same.
I believe most Christians today have a hollow shell of theology. They have the mental framework. They lack the heart experience.
I believe it is quite likely that Jesus Christ taught his followers a practical method for “believing” his teaching – a method of consuming his flesh and drinking his blood, for physically ingesting and digesting the life-force. Or perhaps he gave them a direct transmission of the Logos. My understanding of daoist cosmology is inadequate to understand what is possible here.
Other fun stuff I currently believe:
-Hell is the state of consciousness people experience as fragmented souls. I will not presume to comment on how this is experienced after death. I leave that to those who Know.
Christ said, “their worm will never end”. Christians take this to mean hell is eternal -surely he is not speaking poetically. Then they take the “worm” to be metaphor. Haha…perhaps switch what you take literally. Perhaps Christ meant they have a literal ‘parasite’ that will figuratively never end. As long as one is not born again spiritually, they will endure the hell of parasitic hunger after the material.
February 8, 2016 at 12:54 pm #45871It is forbidden. The entire U.S.A. and their history (and anyone coinciding in practice) are an exercise in futility thereby…
Nowhere does “Jesus” say that his death is related to salvation, nowhere does he say a crucifix is necessary…
Nowhere does he say that is related to salvation. Nowhere does he say “his divinity”…
THIS IS ABSURD “INFIDEL” GARBAGE. Nowhere is this the message even in the English. I do not know that King James ever even knew these devolved illiteracies himself…
February 9, 2016 at 11:07 am #45873Hiranyaksha (Sanskrit: हिरण्याक्ष, “golden-eyed”)…Hiranyakashipu (Sanskrit: हिरण्यकशिपु, “clothed in gold”… In the very beginning of time and creation, the Hindu god Vishnu used to live by the shores of a great vast sea. A pair of seagulls also nested on the same shore. Every year the female seagull would lay her eggs by the shore of the sea. But the sea would sweep in and wash her eggs away. The female seagull laid her eggs farther ashore every year but the sea would continue to sweep in and wash them away every single time. The seagulls were heartbroken by their loss. In despair, they appealed to Vishnu, the great Preserver, to come to their aid. Vishnu felt pity and compassion for their hapless situation. He opened his mouth and swallowed the sea in a huge gulp. Where the sea was, now lay the newly created Mother Earth. Vishnu was very exhausted by the feat of swallowing up such a vast sea. He lay down to rest and soon fell into a deep sleep. The demon Hiranyaksha was lurking nearby. When he saw Vishnu asleep, he seized the opportunity and brutally assaulted the defenseless Mother Earth. His brutality was of such great magnitude that her limbs were broken and levered up. These broken limbs, towering towards the sky, formed the mighty Himalayas. He was slain by the god Vishnu after he (Hiranyaksha) took the Earth to the bottom of what has been described as the “Cosmic ocean”. Vishnu assumed the Avatar of a boar (Varaha) and dove into the ocean to lift the Earth, in the process slaying Hiranyaksha who was obstructing Him. The battle lasted one thousand years. Hiranyaksha had an Elder Brother named Hiranyakashipu, who after having undertaken penances which made him incredibly powerful and invincible unless several conditions were met, was also later slain by Narasimha, another avatar of Vishnu.

This logic presents us with an almost chaotic array of stories relating to the time of the material universe, the person who is of or against God, the manifestation of the Lord in different forms and the reality of the religion that by tradition is needed to remember God. A doubter failing in the method may be confused about the purpose of the vedic discipline presented by Vyâsadeva. Is it all about becoming religious? Or is it to figure out who the Fortunate One actually is? Is it to sober up with the difficulties of mâyâ, the bewildering potency of the material universe with its operating modes or gunas to the eternal of Time, or is it all about defeating demons, the asuras and râkshasas, to be a pious person? To what purpose is the bhâgavata purâna there?
-http://bhagavata.org/structure.htmlHow exemplary one should see Paul the Apostle’s case?
Is it possible to get even nearer to Jesus when you constantly remember him and his devotees with hate?
So for example those who define their view and stand (both Shaytans and Shaytan worshippers) being somehow opposed to Christian ideals; do they have some very special possibilities to become close devotees of Jesus?
Surprisingly this would seem to be hinted different ways for example in the Bhāgavata Purāṇa (Devanagari: भागवतपुराण) which they study in the ISKCON temples every day in the morning.
There you are of course opposing Krishna (/ˈkrɪʃnə/; Sanskrit: कृष्ण) and these seemingly pan-Hindu myths are narrated in Vaishnava context.
