hi guys!
I can’t believe it, but I haven’t had a craving or urge for pornography, sex or anything of that sort for the past almost 2 weeks. I have noticed a lot of changes:First of, all those negative symptoms are disappearing!
However, I have been getting a lot of erections in the morning, which just kind of seems to be there. It is strange because I dont have anything sexual going on in my mind, but I wake up with a hard erection. Is this a good thing or bad thing? If its a good thing, should I just leave it be, and let it settle down on its own naturally. Or is it a bad thing, and I should do something about it?
The only complaint I have are my eyes! They seem to still be quite weak. It gets tired, dried, and worned out easily. I have been eating a lot of carrots, and stayed away from reading, tv, computers etc to help eyes recover. However, it still doesnt seem to work. I still have horrible night vision, blurry vision sometimes, very tired eyes, and all that stuff. Any suggestions?
I’m eating a balance of meat, veges, fruits and it seems to be working out fine for me. I have cut out the pop, junk food, fast food stuff.
It feels like an extremely slow recovery, I can feel and sense it, so I’m taking it easy and just going with the flow without going against mind or body.
Everything seems to be going well, but again at a slow pace. I’m patient, and hope it continues to grow into something wonderful!
All the advice and support everyone has given, I have tested out with great results!
Thank you again to all of you guys for your support! It has, believe it or not provided an incredible foundation of courage, and support which really helped me!
April 26, 2006 at 7:56 pm #13344whoa! thats great to hear that morning yang is a good thing. How do I harvest this? I just want to use it to help further heal and bring balance to the mind, body and soul.
Is there any techniques, methods or chi kung excerises to harnest morning yang?I will also do the eye excersises you recommended!
Thanks again Pietro!
By the way is Royal Jelly any good? I feel like using that to enhance healing

How do I remedy water, wood and depressed condition?April 27, 2006 at 8:35 pm #13350Hello again Jonathon,
Jernej likes to talk in riddles, he’s an interesting guy.
I’ll help you out here:
>>Does this mean to do microcosmic meditation if I wake up with morning yang?<>Ambrosia of bees, does this mean royal jelly and bee pollen, which will help the nervous system? Or will they cause problems and create nervous energy and imbalance?<<
*They will quiet the sympathetic nervous system, thereby calming and relaxing you, which will help cure you problem. Best thing for this is to eat lots of greens, lessen red meat, and practice lots of deep abdominal breathing with all diaphragms!
I don't know what he means about the rest, but here's some Shaolin methods of strengthening the eyes that you can practice when you wake up.
Do this when waking up. Before opening your eyes, rub your fingernails of the thumbs togther until warm, then rub the thumbnails on your eyelids in a circular motion 14x. Still closing eyes, roll eyeballs 7x clockwise and 7x counter-clockwise. Then, with the joints of both thumbs when bent, rub the end of the eyebrows near the nose with both thumb joints 36x. Then with the palms rubbed together until warm, massage the beginning of the ear 36x. Then palms massage counter-clockwise from center of eyebrows to hairline and back to center of eyebrows 36x. Saliva will generate, if it does, make sure to swallow it. Finally, with the back of the thumbs rubbed until warm, massage up and down the bridge of the nose 36x again.
This method will help to make the eyes clear, focused, and strong. I also practiced this method when I was younger with gazing at a candle in pitch black darkness from far, it really improves vision.
At the highest levels, it can allow you to see from exremely far away, where the average person cannot even come close to seeing and allow one to see in pitch black darkness.
Another good method to assist the eyes is to dip the eyes in water in the morning and circulate them clockwise and counter-clockwise while immersed in the water. Clean water preferably.
Yet another good method of strengthening the eyes is counting objects. You can practice counting bricks, leaves, birds, or anything in large number as fast as you can. At first, you can go by 1's, then count by 5's or 10's or 20's at higher levels. Step back further as you get better. First try stationary things like bricks, then go for ducks, or birds, etc.
At the highest levels, Shaolin warrior monks were able to count a heap of 1000 or 2000 ants from 5 steps back! Their eyesight was that refined so that they could easily fight off several men with such good reactions.
Smiles to you,
FajinApril 27, 2006 at 10:29 pm #13352HOLY COW! Fajin your experiences and knowledge you share is incredible!
You inspire me to train like you, by the way where do you live?! I would really like to meet and train with you if possible!I have some questions:
“rub your fingernails of the thumbs togther until warm, then rub the thumbnails on your eyelids in a circular motion 14x.”
So I rub the fingernail of the thumbs until warm, then using the thumb fingernails rub on the eyelids in circular motion 14x. Is this 14x clockwise, then counter clockwise?“Then with the palms rubbed together until warm, massage the beginning of the ear 36x.”
Do you mean putting the palm over the ears and just rubbing 36x in circular motion?“Then palms massage counter-clockwise from center of eyebrows to hairline and back to center of eyebrows 36x”
I interpret this as having each palm placed over my eyebrows, I then begin to rub in circular motion up my forehead to the hairline(the point where hair starts to grow on the front of my head?) and then back to where I started with palms over eyesbrows rubbing them“gazing at a candle in pitch black darkness from far”
I’m also very interested in this practice. What is the best way to start and work my way up? I’m planning to use a standard candle, light it up, put it in my room with all lights turned off so its pitch dark, and just stare and focus on the candle.Should I start with a short distance from starring at the candle, and make it farther and farther away as I get better?
I already get the feeling that when I stare at the candle for a long time, things will seem blurry, or it will be hard to focus.
How often should I practice, and how long should I practice for each day?
I have also been doing the horse leg stance, its great but my knees feel really funny afterwards. My legs also start shaking especially around the knee areas after doing the excerise as if I can’t stand up properly without shaking. Is this suppose to happen? My knees are really weak, what can I do to strength it!
Thanks again for all this awesome lessons Fajin, and for your sincere help!
I really appreciate all this!John
April 28, 2006 at 12:34 am #13354Hi Jonathan,
I’m glad that what I say is inspiring and helpful, that makes me happy! My experiences are more with martial arts than inner alchemy, as martial qigong is what I mainly practice, but am going to start practicing Michael’s higher level stuff soon.
I live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, but will be moving soon, how about you?
>>Is this 14x clockwise, then counter clockwise?<>Do you mean putting the palm over the ears and just rubbing 36x in circular motion?<>interpret this as having each palm placed over my eyebrows, I then begin to rub in circular motion up my forehead to the hairline(the point where hair starts to grow on the front of my head?) and then back to where I started with palms over eyesbrows rubbing them<>I have also been doing the horse leg stance, its great but my knees feel really funny afterwards. *You are doing it to forcefully. Go gently with it. Start at a high stance like Embracing the Tree which is when your knees are not ahead of your toes. Stay in this until you can stay for 15 minutes comfortably then go lower gradually. Your knees will gradually get stronger. When you feel strain, stop, don't let the knees shake, they shouldn't.
Because you are a beginner, I recommend that the best thing you can do right now is to strech, stretch, and stretch. This is very safe and you don't have to worry about injuring yourself if you go gradually so as not to pull a muscle. You don't need to find a book, you can probably find a good internet site and find some Asanas from Yoga. Practice them. Or simply find a good place to stretch and just challenge yourself.
Eg. say to yourself that you want to be able to put your legs behind your head. Try to do this as closely as you can without feeling any strain, and just place your subtle awareness of qi sensation on the area that is being stretched. Do this as long as is comfortable. Just breath naturally. Know what ways the arms, legs, abs, etc. can go and try to make them go farther. Eg. Spine twists sideways, backwards, forwards.
Be creative and challenge yourself. This is one of the best ways to open qi circulation which is very safe and you don't need to buy anything. Just takes discipline. Practice as long as you want.
Hope that helps!

You live in Canada? I’m living there to right now. I was planning to move there someday, to Vancouver or British Columbia with the rocky mountains. I always thought it was really beautiful, peaceful, healthing environment there… is it?! Any reasons for moving? and where you moving too?
My family is back in states in Ohio, but I’m doing school in Montreal right now.
I tried the candle gazing yesterday, and it was a very interesting experience!
I was in my room with no lights, and window blinds closed. The only light was from the candle stick. I sat on a chair and just began to stare at it. After a while I think I went into a “trance” state” like you mentioned. I felt as if I was not my body anymore, almost as if I was just floating. My heart started to beat really fast, because I was kind of afraid of this unfamiliar sensation. The candle light seem to grow in size, but just slightly; I thought it just might be my imagination or eyes not seeing right.
My eyes also began to tear a lot, then it came to the point where I can stare at the candle for a long time and not blink! Then time also seem to fly as it I was in no hurry for anything, at first I thought sitting and staring at a candle for 5 minutes was going to be insanely long! But I went past that, and felt I wanted to more just cause time would flying, or it was timeless.I’m going to do the candle excercise everynight now, and I will also stare at the moon, and sun before it gets bright.
Today I went for a walk as well and started to do the counting excercises you recommended, holy cow! I already notice my vision was much sharper for distance objects! Everything just seems so sharp! I’m still slow on counting but I will be practicing that everyday, counting people, cars, objects, trees, and birds. The only thing i’m afraid is that it might become a habit and I just start counting things with my eyes and mind wherever I go! What If I don’t want to!
Another thing I noticed when I was walking on the sidewalk, people who were walking towards me who looked at me, made me feel weird. I had this very strange sensation in the middle chest area. It reminded me of feeling a lack of self esteem, and lack of confidence. I think I still have in my mind, feeling and thoughts about caring what other people think. I have been trained to think like that, and want to reprogram myself! Any suggestions?
Thanks for the update on the horse leg stance, I will go slowly and hopefully will have super balance knees/legs in the near future.
Thanks for also recommending the stretching excercises I’m going to look some up and start practicing. I found one called the 5 TIBETANS, where it is 5 simple moves done 20 times or something, have you, or know anyone who has done this? Is this a safe excercise/stretching practice?
April 28, 2006 at 11:47 am #13360hi Jernej thanks for again for your feedback, I have a feeling it is profoundly important knowledge and wisdom, but it is very difficult for me to understand, but I will nonetheless try to under what you say this time!
you don’t think
you learn only as much as you feed the volt
you want to be fed.
.*I interpret this as I do not think for myself, and ask others for their thoughts/knowledge/experience. I feed knowledge from others, and want to be fed. You are suggesting that I start to think for myself and try to learn, experience, by myself because everyone is a unique individual, and no knowledge from others is real knowledge unless it was thought/experience by me.
however since
what is the nature of bees?
what is the nature of cows?
What is water in taoism?
How does food influence the system?
What quality of energy you want?*Here you are rephrasing the questions I asked about, and you are generous enough to offer further insights and to elaborate, and I thank you for this!
so this demands this:
you want to feed on woman.
you want female ching.
the bees and cows or fish prime materia
all are to feed their offspring*You want to feed on woman, I don’t know to take this as an recommendation advice to feed on woman to help my problem, or that it is acutally my inner program. That my body, mind, or soul needs to feed on woman, and the ching/ or life force from a women. Perhaps I was not breastfed from my mom, maybe thats why I have malnuturition and a distorted sexuality which I’am trying to recover.
and you want to take them that away
and such act is acceptable because it is not demanding*You are saying that I’am taking food from other beings for that which I lack, so in a sense I’am stealing from other beings because of something I do not have, thus creating a vicious cycle.. leading to perhaps no real good cuase or change, for I was hurt, and hurt others now to help myself?
you have failed to notice the obvious
you sprayed male ching
so
getting male ching
either from same
or if (not) squimmish, other species*I have ejculated a lot, and lost the male energy/semen/vital fluid, so all this time when I thought the problem was sex, or females it was really not the female side, but the male/yang side which is the ovious of which I have lost or depleted. So to regenerate, is to regenerate the ovious, which was the lost, which is the male energy/yang side. But what the question is how do I restore my yang/male side?
see what you do is zero sum game
no collective profit
and while females generaly try to endure the abuse
the males would make you work for it*This part is really difficult for me to interpret, because I don’t know what level you mean.. do you mean females and male as in human begins, that females will give their energy though sex and endure the abuse, while males give you methods, techniques where you have to work for it?
or female as in bees, and cows who give off life energy much easier, while males of those species will make it difficult for you to get their life energy/food
as for the zero sum game, no collective profit..
it means there is no real gain for anyone…
no one benefits, to fix my lost, will be a lost of another..
so in the end, it still remains zero, no profit for anybody in total essence..
if this be the case, what i’m I to do?!
I don’t want to harm others, or cause others to loose, yet I do need to recover myself to survive, to life, to discover.. I made a mistake yes.. I want to learn, and fix that mistake and come to balance and harmony, but without hurting others.. is there not a way?!April 28, 2006 at 12:01 pm #13362Thanks for the forum link PietroS, wow I didn’t realize SO MANY MALES are trying to seek sexual balance as well. I always thought I was the only one screwed, and all the other guys sex lives were all fine and dandy!
Now you have me thinking… about the whole to ejculate or not to ejculate
I’m going to plan to not ejaculate for the time being, as my body doesn’t feel the urge or anything, so might as well take advantage to heal, and not force any old habits
I have been doing all the excercises you guys recommended, and for some reason I think that my sexual energy has been spent, or transformed in those practices thats perhaps why I don’t feel any sexual urge.. as of yet anyways
So right now I think the key thing for me is to use my sexual energy in the qigong excerises, stretching, yoga, breathing, meditation practices; this way the sexual energy is used in a manner which will hopefully help build my mind, body and soul in a better way, rather then using my sexual energy in creating false fantasies, and mindlessly using it on a temporary pleasure with huge negative effects.
I really hope this works, to be drained of sexual life energy is painful… you feel like dying at times, or the body feels so stiff, frail, sick… etc..
However, lately I have been getting minor urges… simple pictures of women from magazines.. like when I went grocery shopping.. on the magazine stand, so much sexual pictures of women…
For some reason, girls in real life don’t turn me on sexually, I see them in a respected human manner.. I acutally have more confidence around them now, back then I use to feel so guilty because of my inner masturbation/porn addiction. The girls in real life who were so hot I created a fantasy with them, but now I see things as is..I guess you can say
BUT DAMN IT, the stuff on the internet, tv, media, movies, and magazines shows girls in a really sexual manner no matter what, seeing the girls from the media starts stimulating me… even something as simple as seeing their skin.. its just the colors they use, the clothing they wear, their skin, their breast, their face, their lusty look, all of that…
ahh what to do, what to do
April 28, 2006 at 12:49 pm #13364Hi Johnathon,
You share nice experiences. It’s a pleasure to hear them.
The emotional problems you face right now like over-confidence, lack of self-esteem, etc. and pain in the middle chest area are because you developed some energy blockages growing up or some bad experiences which led you to live your life a certain way which could have shot your confidence, esteem, etc.
When you unblock the qi stagnation in your body, those things will pass. It just takes self-discipline, that’s the key. Dedicate lots of time in your practice (if you have the time).
The 5 Tibetans is an excellent stretching exercise. You can practice this. But there are lots of Westerners teaching this and they do not put any emphasis on the developement of qi through it. Just be sure to include it and go very gentle. All stretching is safe if done gently.
The counting objects can really build your reaction time and you will be amazed as to how good quick your reactions will be in one year. IF you are interested in martial arts, feel free to try an internal martial art like Taiji from a good master (difficult to find one), or whatever is around your area.
All the best,
FajinApril 28, 2006 at 10:24 pm #13366j> Is this a good thing or bad thing? If its a good thing, should I just leave it be, and let it settle down on its own naturally. >
Its good (‘normal’, in fact).
Leave it be. Best way to do that is to get up early in the morning and exercise / practice.j> The only complaint I have are my eyes! They seem to still be quite weak. .. Any suggestions? >
Its going to take a while for deeper recovery to occur. Something you should include in your daily exercise is you should warm-up all of the major joints: ankles, wrists, knees, elbows, shoulders, hips, spine. Joints are concentrated nexuses in the pathway (fascia ~ sinew channels ~ tendons ~ joints ~ bone marrow) that’s a big part of qi gong cultivation.
j> It feels like an extremely slow recovery, .. >
Yup. This is going to take a while, but you’ll gradually feel better and better.

AlchemicalTaoism.comApril 29, 2006 at 1:55 pm #13368Pietro,
I don’t understand why people complicate things so much. The fruits that grow on tress are all that people need, there is no need to kill other animals and eat them if we are not on a food shortage. They have all the required nutrients your body needs, just pick up a book like “Raw Secrets” and read away. Our bodies are not meant to digest meat, our intestines and teeth are clearly designed for digesting botanical species, particularly fruits. Diet doesn’t need to be complicated. Just eat whenever you are hungry, listening to your body’s signals, and practice lots of qigong supplementing the sun, heaven, and earth’s force you won’t have any deficiencies no matter what.
I have been doing this for 8 years and I’m as strong as a horse! Proteins are a big myth, you only need 25 grams of protein, maybe even less. You can get ’em from fruits and nuts. LISTEN TO SAKYAMUNI he knows what he’s talking about! Dairy also is the biggest allergen there is by far. Don’t believe me, do the muscle test as matblack stated. Again, 1-2 lbs. of greens a day to make sure you have what you need, plenty of nuts like walnuts, almonds, etc. may put in flax seeds and pumpkin seeds and a variety of fruits of all colours, particularly tropical fruits for their biophotons.
Smiles,
FajinApril 29, 2006 at 2:05 pm #13370>>And I don’t know what the current diktat is inside the HT to get rid of an unneeded thought. Maybe ask Michael.<<
Go to the root source of thoughts, THE ORGANS. Make sure that the heart sympathetic branch is inactive in the prostate sympathetic nerves to stop triggering ejaculation and make sure the kidney parasympathetic nerves in the tailbone are charged. Practice anal-tailbone breathing!
Stop red meat, sugar, greasy foods which triggers the sympathetic response and practice lots of deep breathing and smiling which triggers the parasympathetic response. Eat lots of greens which charges the parasympathetic nervous system. Drink green tea and calming teas. Smile to the organs for any unresolved emotions throughout the day. Use blue for heart and red for kidneys. There won't be any sexual thoughts this way.
Another good way is to practice nadi shodhana, ie. alternate nostril breathing or trataka (candle gazing) because the eyes and nostrils are part of the parasympathetic-sympathetic nervous division. It stills the mind.
Smiling from the Heart,
Fajin -
