What am I to you who broke the tabu against killing one’s father? What are dear to a man who kills a learned brahmin?”
-BUDHASVAMIN, Bṛhatkathāślokasaṃgraha (Emperor of the Sorcerers)With Krishna we find the culmination of the discipline of oneness in diversity in one person, the Person of All Qualities and Fortune. In the last part, the vedanta, or the final commentary is presented. In canto eleven this is done in the form of the teachings to be remembered after Krishna left this world and the norm of celibacy in facing the Age of Quarrel is set by sage Mârkandeya in canto twelve, in which the people have difficulty keeping track with classical wisdom in arguing endlessly about their personal weaknesses in politics and in a societal confusion of identity. So we have at this second level, when we accept the duality with the threefold respected nondual reality of the Absolute Truth, the sixfold division of the darshanas that cover all the different aspects of indian philosophy.
-http://bhagavata.org/structure.htmlAyudhapurusha is the anthropomorphic depiction of a divine weapon in Hindu art. Ayudhapurushas are sometimes considered as partial incarnates of their divine owners. The sex of the personified weapon is determined by the gender of the weapon in the Sanskrit language. The suffix “purusha” (man) is added to masculine weapons and “devi” (goddess) to female ones. The weapons Shakti, Heti (a Hatchet-like weapon) and Gada (mace), especially Kaumodaki (the mace of Vishnu), Dhanus/Dhanushya (“bow”) are women. Chakra, especially Vishnu’s Sudarshana Chakra (discus of Vishnu), Shankha (“conch”), Padma (lotus), Ankusha (elephant goad), Pasha (noose), Trisula (trident), vajra (thunderbolt), Khadga (sword), Danda (a sceptre or club), Bana/Shara (“arrow”) and Bhindi (sling) are depicted male.
-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AyudhapurushaThe Sudarshana Chakra is a spinning, disk-like weapon with 108 serrated edges used by the Hindu god Vishnu. The Sudarshana Chakra is generally portrayed on the right rear hand of the four hands of Vishnu, who also holds a shankha (conch shell), a Gada (mace) and a padma (lotus).

(His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami) Prabhupada’s version of The Bhāgavata Purāṇa (Devanagari: भागवतपुराण) is very good introduction to ancient Indian thought and spiritual ideas.
But one should quickly realize that if it is about bhaktiyoga on the surface, it’s something totally different at deeper level.
Personally I don’t see anything wrong if the immediate teaching is about renunciation if compared with those Tantrik incontinences.
