Xian Tian (early heaven) and Hou Tian (later heaven – physical plane).How is Zhen Ren different that Yuan Shen?
Yuan Shen is a formless, undifferentiated process of nature, and therefore very collective and primal, while Zhen Ren is the process of a human that is of necessity, filtered through the five shen (it is part of the process of refinement of the five shen). The human always has a connection with all levels of nature, but may not be adept at communicating with them. Through the process of meditation or inner alchemy, the human uses his/her body mind (the five shen) to communicate with more collective aspects of nature that also necessarily contain more yuan shen.

Can you offer some clarity.Is Yuan Shen inside each human, as the Five Shen are or is it outside the human and needs some method to communicate with it?
If the Yuan Shen is formless, are you saying it has no form at all? If we unite with it dont we become formless and isnt the purpose of alchemy to retain a form in life after physical death?
If the Yuan Shen is formless then how can there be an individual Yuan Shen for each person? Or is it not an individual thing?

baguaThe structure of dimensions runs from physical/slow vibration to formless/fast vibration. Yuan jing, qi and shen are the fundamental structure of this spectrum, the “potential to manifest” and form combinations of yin, yang and yuan. Yuan jing, qi and shen are present in everything, even if only as the element that holds yin and yang forces together.
The standard operating system of the human is to use the five shen to sense their inner and outer connections with the universe. The five shen operate at a relatively slow vibrational rate in order to be localized and connected to form. Yuan qi is always present but humans ability to sense it is limited, as is the ability to sense outside of the physical.
When a human practices meditation and alchemy, they raise their vibrational level and are able to sense neutral force and hold it within their structure more effectively.
When things are predominantly yin and yang with little yuan qi to lubricate their movement, they tend to go to extremes, and flip to the opposite end of the spectrum, that effectively ends their ability to hold form, they are recycled.
When the energetic/physical structure of the human can can hold yuan jing, qi and shen within its structure, the structure can continue evolving because the potential to manifest is there.
The idea of an “individual yuan shen” is an oxymoron, a paradox, because yuan shen by its nature is connected to everything. Note carefully that what I am saying is that through alchemy, humans develop the ability to communicate more effectively with yuan shen, and also crystallize that essence into yuan jing that is infused into the yin and yang qi of the pearl.
Its kind of like fossilization in reverse, the human form is already manifested, but through infusing that form with yuan jing, qi and shen through holding the kan and li portal open, the yuan qi begins to mimic the form of the localized human energetic/physical structure, and to merge with it while still retaining its ability to vibrate at both a personal and collective level.
